It’s not every day that I write such a demanding headline but today is not your average day. In exploring the inner workings of internet Juggernaut Google I stumbled across an amazing, yet little know opportunity. Enter Google Grants -  a unique in-kind donation programme awarding free AdWords advertising to select charitable organizations around the globe.

This year, instead of buying a gym membership (which I never use), or planning to give up some of my less than “healthy” habits (which I never do) I’ve decided to pursue a more practical new years resolution… Drum roll please… I’m going to read at least one novel/book a month. This may be a bit anticlimactic for some, however, I have not been an avid reader since I was in high school. Sure I read blogs, and articles on the web but books have never been my favourite form of media. However, I’m hoping to change that in my strict 12 month diet of literary num nums.
